Engineered for Safety
Yale is renowned for offering safe lift trucks which are adaptable and flexible for various applications and tasks. The ability to engineer and manufacture models for enhanced safety comes from the new technology which is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
Yale likes to incorporate new technology which is available into their newest designs. Several of the new technologies that are available are initially applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company performs various controlled field tests and reliability development so as to ensure their products are very safe.
Some of Yale's new designs and technology that has been integrated as standard features for their fleet in order to enhance overall safety consist of the following:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The operator compartment has been designed with ergonomics in mind, utilizing state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to guarantee that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions as well as fatigue. These extra comforts help to increase overall production.
Adjustable Operators Compartment and Controls
Adjustable operator controls allow the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the equipment user friendly, regardless of who is operating it. Before starting their shift, the operator can make sure she or he is as comfortable as he or she can be.
Operator Presence System
Yale's hydraulic system operation referred to as the Operator Presence System prevents the use of the machinery if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck units.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the operator's natural handling position making the tank easier to change.
