Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric

The Genie DC and Bi-Energy equipment offered by Terex provide emission-free and quiet operation in the most sensitive work applications. For example, in industrial settings where the equipment should travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and benefits of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC machinery.



Some of the important features offered by this combination include over, out and up positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. Also, the zero tail-swing offered by most models, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.



Proportional lift controls and drive controls also provide precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. The 48V DC electric drive system offers emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings. There are jib boom models available to function with an extra working range for specific tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.



Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine

Genie machinery by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine extreme lifting versatility and up, out and over positioning capabilities. The outreach offered by this particular type is second to none in the market.



Diesel engine machinery on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machinery are ideal in small or narrow places. Additionally, they provide grade and terrain maneuverability, supreme power and exceptional torque. The diesel engines are generally quiet also. Nearly all models have full time drive positive drive traction system and active oscillating axle to provide great flexibility on surfaces that are rough and uneven.



High ground clearance is provided in 4 or 2 wheel drive models, while the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom kinds are available and offer extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models as well.
