Within the US marketplace, SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. Various industries such as Scrap Handling, Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Bulk Transfer Facilities and many other material handling facilities are currently using our buckets and grabs to accomplish their tasks.



Peiner's design philosophy has always revolved around the idea of producing grabs which deal with the biggest volume instead of grab dead weight. Normally, the grab and bucket lifting ratio's meaning that 60 percent of material is dead weight vs. 40 percent grab dead weight. This means transporting more quantities of materials quicker. There is less wear and tear on the crane structure and its related components. Through a combination of innovative design and high quality materials with manufacturing, the weight ration that is required is attained.



Grab sizes will range from 1 cubic yard or less to over 50 cubic yards in order to meet the needs of the client. Peiner USA Inc. also provides a complete service facility and spare parts facility for the models purchased within the United States, along with the addition of new buckets and grabs.
