End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is a really flexible machinery and is common in the material handling industry. These machines have superior performance features which are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space required to operate these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These equipment are an excellent alternative for applications that need frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by a variety of businesses that maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need yet in a safe and efficient way.
The basic reach truck unit is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also include a hydraulic system that enables the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides more balance to the overall load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves that are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the forks to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
