Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When both precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
Many attachments have been engineered and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to place materials in a more accurate way. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and would be available in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
